Our Open House..

Finally....hubby and I managed to host a Hari Raya open house last Sunday on the 28th of October. Last year, we didnt have one cuz i was totally sarat mengandung (7 months preggie) and I wasnt feeling so comfortable. Most of our closest friends came and I was really happy to see all of them :) Thanks u guys for coming! Even with my lil one sibuk2 here and there....he finally slept by 3pm and by the time guests arrived I was a little relaxed. Hehe. Like they say, even though its really tiring to host an open house no matter how small it is, in the end its worth it...Bukan selalu right? And since we seldom hangout with friends anymore, its good to know that we still have good friends around :) Anyways, love you guys sooooooooo much...Cant wait to see you all get married one by one...Ada yang dah kahwin and ada anak like us, ada yang still searching, ada yang getting married soon ( hehe u know who u r) Either way, i hope to host some more gatherings or barbecue parties in the future, insyaAllah.

Hari Raya 07

Its funny how time flies and here I am celebrating Raya with my hubby and the newest little addition to the family, my beloved babyboy Mohammad Adam Hakeem :) He just turned 10 months old a week before Hari Raya. This year, our raya is extra meaningful and colourful with Adam around, crawling and screaming everywhere. The baju Melayu my mom made for him is perfect and its turquoise! I'm soo into the colour this year...Almost all of my baju Raya is turquoise. Well, like hubby said, when u have a child, his needs are more important than yours. And I can't stop buying all these cute collared t-shirts and shirts for Adam! I mean, what can you possibly buy for little boys, but t-shirts, shirts, jeans, long pants. And on top of that, my mom in law bought a whole bag full of baju Raya for Adam too and so did my sis in law who came back for her usual holidays from Bandung (she's doing medicine) . So, just imagine happy I am to dress my little boy up with all the new clothes he got :) Well, most of all I am very happy to see how my Adam has grown from this tiny little baby to a lean, tall but still so little boy. Last night, when Hubby took me for a treat in Baskin Robbins ( i've been craving for em ice creams since Ramadhan), as i was about to let Adam lick some ice cream off my fingers, i felt him bite me a bit. I was shocked to have felt some sharp pain. My baby was actually growing a tooth! I was soo happy that finally his first tooth is popping out. Well, as of 2nd raya Adam was sick with a cold and he is still not so very well. I guess the unpredictable weather was the cause. Anyways, I want to take the opportunity to apologize to everyone who knows me for the mistakes i've done and I pray that everyone is doing well and happy :) Last but not least, I love you hubby and thanks for being so great to me. You're a wonderful abu and a loving husband.
